It is a mix between a Golden Retriever and a Labrador Retriever. It may have some of the characteristics of both breeds. It is a member of the ACHC which is the American Canine Hybrid Club.
Belonging to the golden labrador club is a great honor. It shows that the breeds of golden and labrador have been mixed to make an extraordinary dog. The Golden labrador is a loveable and loyal choice of pet for anyone. They are intelligent and friendly and get along with other animals.
Golden Labradors are considered to be medium to large dogs. They generally will grow to be between twenty two and twenty four inches tall and weigh anywhere from sixty-five to eighty-five pounds when they are full grown. They shed a lot, even when they are groomed on a daily basis.
Golden Labradors make great family pets. They get along well with children and other pets in the household. They are loyal and protective. They have a great deal of energy and need to go out for exercise often.
